		T H E  A B D O M I N A L S
 
    Abs: ( Abdominals, Abdomen )
	 The abdominals are made up of three different muscles. The rectus abdominis,(other known as a Six Pack)a long muscle starting at your
	pubis that inserts into the cartilage of the fifth, sixth and seventh rib and extending along the front of you up
	to your sternum.
	Basic function:To flex the spinal column and draw the sternum
	toward the pelvis. 
	 The external obliques,are the muscles at each side of your body(other known as love handles)are attached
	to the lower eight ribs and insert into the side of the pelvis.
    Basic function:To flex and rotate the spinal column.
	 
	 The intercostals,are muscular and tendon fibers that make up the spaces 
	between the ribs
    Basic function:To lift the ribs and draw them together.
