HOME >> STRENGTH TRAINING >>RECOVERY RATE
Definition:
A process involving the body and muscle recovery (recuperation)during
a rest period between training sessions.
Recovery is very important. Adequate time must be allowed
between one workout to the next so the exercised muscles can complete their recovery process. As a general
rule, you should not exercise the same muscle group two days in a row, and no more than three times per week.
Bodybuilders that are in mass (big muscles) building programs or some one trying to gain maximum muscle growth
should not train each muscle group more than once per week.If you don't give your muscles enough time to recover
they will find their own time and this is when signs of overtraining start to set in. So be smart and
don't over do it.
