HOME >> STRENGTH TRAINING >>DO I NEED A WEIGHT BELT?

Yes you do need a weight belt. A weight belt is
used to support and stabilize your lower back and protect the abdominal cavity from bursting when lifting weights.
They are necessary when performing exercises that put a lot of stress on your lower back or when conducting any
heavy weight training exercise. A weight belt can greatly improve performance and keep your trunk and especially your
 lower back in line

Squats, Deadlifts, Bent-over rows, Bench Pressing, Shoulder Presses, Standing Bicep Curls would be good
examples when to use a belt. Remember to always maintain good posture and exercise form while
  exercising to prevent injuries.
